How to Calculate:
(1B + 2 x 2B + 3 x 3B + 4 x HR) / AB = Slugging Percentage
About Slugging Percentage:
Slugging Percentage (SLG) measures the power of a hitter, by calculating how many bases they have reached and dividing it by their at-bats.
Examples of Slugging Percentage:
Say a player has 34 singles, 15 doubles, 3 triples and 12 home runs in 260 at-bats then their slugging percentage would be 0.465.
